SAMPLE of the following deck; Adverbs in isolation: These 12 task cards provide a picture scene with cloze sentences (subject-predicate) and 4 multiple choice adverbs. Expose your student to a variety of adverbs as they explore how the action happened. These cards specifically provide 4 -ly words to choose from. Students need to identify key elements of the situation and read the picture to determine the answers. This gives students the opportunity to take in information from the scene, look at the situation from different perspectives, then provide the most logical response. Students receive immediate feedback when they submit their answers.
