Description
This is an interesting 31-card scavenger hunt that can be used during Library Week, back-to-school, Read Across America week, or as an easy lesson for a sub that will teach students interesting facts about libraries. While completing this hunt students will learn how Benjamin Franklin, Andrew Carnegie, and Melvin Dewey impacted libraries, unusual things found inside library books, different kinds of unconventional libraries, and more. To complete the hunt, students read a multiple-choice question. Then they read a short passage that will help them answer the question. Students receive instant feedback on whether or not they chose the correct answer. The final card in the deck challenges students to write 3 interesting things they learned from the hunt.
