In this Chemistry Boom deck students use the provided electron configuration to determine the element shown. There are several examples of elements that have exceptions to the filling order. The directions include an explanation for this phenomenon and there are warnings on the slides which indicate students will have to look carefully as the given electron configuration contains an exception. There are 71 elements included in this randomized deck going up to the 7s elements (Fr and Rn). Students will have plenty of practice using this deck over and over again!
