Description

This is a 33-card scavenger hunt that discusses the history and uses of pi. In this hunt students will learn when pi was first used, how Pi Day began, ways pi is used outside of the classroom, the greatest number of digits of pi that have been calculated, and more. To complete the hunt, students read a multiple-choice question. Then they read a passage that will help them answer the question. Students receive instant feedback on whether or not they chose the correct answer. The final card in the deck challenges students to write 3 interesting things they learned from the hunt. It can be used as a Pi Day activity, to help students understand the importance of pi, or as an easy lesson for a sub.
