Use this Ten Frame Addition to 10 deck whole group, small group, or individually in a center to teach or review addition with ten frames. The red chips represent the first number and the yellow chips represent the second number. With practice, your students will soon begin to subitize (know the numbers without counting) and add the ten frames quickly. Eventually, they will transfer that skill to the number sentences and won't need the 10 frames to add to 10. Students will have 25 randomized cards for each play with a total of 43 cards in the deck.
