Description: Are you working on the sounds of long I? This interactive deck will help your students to practice the long I sound made with IGH, IE, and Y. It includes 4 activities and 30 cards in the deck. Al l directions and pictures include audio to make this a truly independent activity for your advanced kindergarten, first, or second grade students! In the first activity students will drag a flower with IGH, IE, or Y to a flower stem to show which spelling pattern would complete the word. The second activity has 5 cards. Students will look for "hidden" words with each of the spelling patterns then type them in the boxes under their pattern. The third activity is also 5 cards, students will drag a flower to a flower point that names the word that is shown on the pot. In the final activity, students will drag sun letters to boxes to spell the pictured word. This activity is great as an independent activity during your center time or as an activity during distance learning.
