This set is a great way to learn about and review American Holidays, culture, and traditions. It reviews the following topics and holidays: culture, traditions, customs, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day, New Year's Day, Christmas, Thanksgiving, and Hanukkah! There is a "learn" section and a "play" section. This is perfect for a kindergarten, first grade, or second grade social studies unit on customs and traditions. This set also includes sound files where the students click on the sound button to have the words read to them. This is perfect for your non-readers or low readers. There are 50 slides in all. Kids can click on each holiday and read about it. There are 25 review questions where kids will either drag over their answer (out of 3 choices) or click on the correct answer (multiple choice out of 2 or 3). The rest of the slides are ones where children will learn about the holidays.
