This activity was designed for students with speech goals in the areas of answering How questions and can also be used to support reading comprehension, receptive language comprehension, sequencing, and describing steps of an activity. Each space on the board game contains a How question prompt that contains spaces to put a first, middle, and last step. Each prompt has 6 draggable options with silly or unrealistic steps typically mixed in so that students have the added challenge of differentiating important and irrelevant information while also sequencing steps and explaining actions. Your students will have so much fun playing with squirrels and collecting acorns that they will forget they are targeting receptive language goals. Game Instructions: Help the squirrels gather as many acorns as they can! Play and pause the video to roll your dice and see how many spaces you will move.
