Short Vowel Quick Review Boom Cards™ are digital task cards that give students a fun, game like format to review short vowel sounds and practice blending CVC words. These task cards are engaging, self-checking, multi-sensory, paperless, and no prep. Students get a multi-sensory experience by touching or clicking each letter and saying the sounds and words. They can hear each sound to check if they said it correctly before going on to the next card. This activity compliments any reading or phonics program and was designed for use with Orton-Gillingham methods. This is perfect for providing individualized practice and can be used in groups, tutoring, and at home. Students begin by reviewing the vowel sounds with anchor pictures, then practice blending short vowel CVC words.
