Word to Picture Match - February

Description: This is a word to picture matching activity. On each card the student is presented with 4 pictures and 4 words. The student must drag the word to the matching picture. When all are correct, the page flips to the next card after the student presses Submit. There are 48 targeted February words on 12 cards. Students are encouraged to sound out the pictured words to identify beginning letters in the written words. This is a nice individual or group lesson and would be a fun transition or exit ticket activity as well. It's a great way to build vocabulary and beginning reading skills.
