Description
This deck of Reading tasks helps students develop Reading strategies and comprehension skills to understand and connect as they read. The theme of the tasks is MONSTERS. There are 36 varied slides to introduce and encourage students to think about the importance of thinking, predicting, inferring, questioning, choosing and forming opinions as they read. Most of these tasks require deep thinking, responding and justification of opinions. This deck is randomised, except for the first slide, which asks students to write about what they already know about monsters. The first slide introduce the concept with explanations and space for students reference and responses. The tasks include some: * typing answers * multiple choice answers * many GIFS to engage students * tasks depending on images * tasks depending upon reading text
