Description
This deck relates to listening, reading and finding grade 1 sight words or high frequency words. It is a fun themed activity to practice common sight words. The task is to listen to each word and then find and tap/click the correct one. If you don’t want your students to listen to all the words, there is a function in BOOM where you can hide cards. Next, the player should type the word in the fill-in-the-blank box. Press the ‘Submit’ button to give your answer. If the correct word is found and typed, you will hear a bell sound, and the deck will advance to the next card. If an incorrect word is selected and incorrectly typed, you will hear a whoop sound, and you can try again until the deck advances to the next card. The cards are randomized – each time you play the deck the cards will be in a different order. 41 sight words: after, again, an, any, as, ask, by, could, every, fly from, give, going, had, has her, him, his, how, just, know, let, live, may, of, old, once, open, over, put, round, some, stop, take thank, them, then, think, walk, were, and when.
