Description: I read the book Rainbow Stew by Cathryn Falwell every spring with my students, and then, we make our own version of "rainbow stew!" This year was a little different of course, so I decided to make them a digital version, Let's Make Rainbow Stew! This is an open ended resource. It can be used to practice labeling fruits, sound development, formulating sentences, modeling core vocabulary, turn taking skills, or as a simple reinforcement activity. Given its endless possibilities, this activity is perfect for mixed groups. Student picks the piece of fruit named and uses the wooden spoon to stir the pot. When the pot has been stirred "a lot", student touches the box labeled out. The book will automatically advance to the next page in the book. Hit the next button to turn the page. Continue.
