Description
This activity contains animated summer action verbs (GIFS). Students are asked the WH question "what do you like" and given 2 visual choices (e.g. surfing/swimming). Students are presented with a visual sentence starter and asked to drag and drop the correct choice into the blank space. This helps students answer WH questions, expand their utterances and increase their MLU. The following present progressive animated hobbies verbs are included in this activity: - Grilling - Snorkeling - Surfing - Swimming - Sliding - Fishing - Floating - Walking - Building a sand castle - Lotioning - Running - Skipping - Throwing - Sailing - Drinking - Driving - Reading Some IEP goals that can be targeted during this activity: - Identifying and labeling Verbs - Expanding Utterances and increasing MLU - What Questions - Core Word LIKE - Pragmatics (e.g. commenting) - Pronouns (e.g. can ask students if the animated verbs is a he or she).
