Students are presented with an animated valentine monster (GIFS), an animated valentines day present box, an animated valentines day envelope, and an animated valentines day heart. Students are first asked to identify spatial concepts (e.g. on, on top, in front, behind, under, above, below, between, next to) in a field of 2. Students are asked to follow 1-step directions with the following spatial concepts: - in front - behind - on top - above - below - under - next to - between Some of the following IEP goals can be targeted during this activity: - Identifying and labeling Basic concepts (e.g. Spatial Concepts) - Following Directions - Wh- questions (e.g. can ask students "where is the monster" after they identify the correct picture).
