card 1: Student clicks on each picture to hear one-syllable word ending with /l/, /s/, or /f/. If the word has a short vowel, the student drags the word into the box that says Double the Last Consonant. If the word has a long vowel sound, the student drags the picture into the box that says Not a Floss Word. Cards 2-11: Each card has one word, similar to the words on the first slide. There are 6 cards that follow the floss rule, and 4 that do not (CVC and CVCe words).
