Are you introducing the concept of multiplication to your students or just trying to boost number sense? The cards in this set each have a visual model of equal groups. Students need to determine the number of groups and the number of items in the equal groups. They then need to identify the multiplication equation that represents the model. This set of cards is perfect for summer learning at home or at school! What’s included? 20 self-checking digital task cards which ask students to identify the multiplication expression that represents a given model. For example, 2 groups with 8 items in each would be expressed as 2 x 8. Students must choose the correct equation from a field of three. This set addresses Standard 3.OA.A.1: Interpret products of whole numbers, e.g., interpret 5 × 7 as the total number of objects in 5 groups of 7 objects each.
