Description: A fun and engaging way to practice the vocalic /r/ sound. Play a fun memory game (6 pictures on each card) while practicing the vocalic /r/ sound in the initial position. The pictures elicit the targeted sounds and there is plenty of opportunity for the teacher/therapist to teach vocabulary and concepts. I review the pictures and words with the students, getting that best speech sound. Then we go to the next card and the student has to remember the picture behind the question mark.
