This boom card activity is designed to support students understand gradients of meaning while building vocabulary and semantic knowledge. On each task card students are given 2-3 words/phrases and asked to sort them in order from most powerful to weakest words/phrases e.g., small, mini. A visual is provided to support students’ understanding of these concepts. This deck includes 13 task cards.
