Description
This deck of Boom™ Cards reinforces key signatures of all 12 major keys, helping students to recall important skills such as identifying the key signature of each major key with reference to the circle of fifths as well as the notes - tonic, tonic triad and scale - indicated on the keyboard diagram. There are a total of 52 cards covering all 12 major keys. For each key, there are four different cards - one with the full octave scale indicated in the keyboard diagram; one with just the tonic triad; one with just the tonic; and one without any notes indicated in the keyboard diagram (this encourages the student to figure out the key signature of the given key on their own). Each play comprises 15 randomised cards. Students are encouraged to first recap the key signatures of each major key and how the circle of fifths works.
