Description: Engage students with number sense activities that will encourage children to count, use and recognise ways to write numbers 1-120. The first tasks involve students to read clues, eliminate numbers until there is only one possible answer left. Clues involve: 10 frames, finger counts, beads, sharing, greater and less than, double, odd and even. There are crosses to drag as numbers are eliminated, because I think, visuals make the task easier. The second activity requires students to start on a specific number, read clues and track a path. Where they land, is the answer. The third activities students to fill in missing numbers, in sequence 1-120. Fill in the blanks and multiple choice answers.
