Description: Are you kids constantly getting volume, mass, and relative density mixed up? If you want to help your students zero in on volume, these Boom Cards can help. These questions can be helpful as an introduction, a review, or for extra help with struggling students. There is an even mix of easy, medium, and challenging questions. About a third of the questions involve water displacement, another third requires calculating volume with the formula V = l x w x h, and another third requires logic. Because some kids struggle with basic multiplication facts, fractions, and decimals, there are only whole number calculations. They can even write on cards with digital ink! The heavy emphasis is on the concept of volume versus mathematical calculations. Every time your students correctly answer a question, part of a mystery picture will be uncovered. There are two mystery pictures, each with twelve questions. Both mystery pictures are directly related to volume.
