Teaching non-native speakers the alphabet can be problematic because the letters often do not sound the same as in words. Most students learn by singing the alphabet but can't identify individual letters. These games group the letters by sound, to help students better learn the individual letters. The sounds on each card, and the card order randomise. This means students can play the game more than once as they can't automatically choose the same icon. In addition, if more than one student is playing, the randomization feature means not all students will see the same cards, reducing the temptation to copy. I appreciate feedback, good or bad.
