Build It! 4s Multiplication Facts gives students interactive multiplication practice that meets them where they are. Students can build each fact with virtual manipulatives or, when ready, solve mentally and enter the answer directly. This deck is part of the Build It! Multiplication Facts 2–5 series. For a complete progression, look for the Build It! Multiplication Facts 2–5 Bundle, which includes all four decks. These activities reflect the concrete-first approach I use with my own students. Students build arrays with cubes to visualize multiplication as equal groups arranged in rows and columns and connect each equation to a meaningful model. These Boom Cards are designed to support, not replace, hands-on learning. After exploring multiplication with real manipulatives, students can continue building and manipulating arrays digitally while receiving immediate feedback. Rather than simply memorizing facts, students strengthen their understanding of equal groups, arrays, and the relationship between factors and products, building flexible number sense for future mathematical thinking.
