It is easy to see if students can identify, fix, and correct capitalization, punctuation, word order, and spelling with this terrific game which can be used as an assessment or review for their daily language practice. Punctuation includes quotation and question marks, periods, commas, and exclamation points along with their rules for usage. Capitalization includes common and elementary capitalization rules, including the days of the week, holidays, beginning of sentences, proper nouns, dates, and abbreviations. Students identify proper and improper primary spellings and punctuation in given sentences. Spellings include basic words with focus on high frequency (or sight) words her, who, would, some, have, class, ducks, blocks, and tape. This expands from Unit 1. This was created for elementary students, English Language learners, and beginning adult students; however, it can definitely be used for any students that need assistance, learning, or review of these skills.
