Description
This camping articulation deck (Build and Explore a Campground) covers /r/ articulation (/r/ blends, prevocalic /r/, vocalic /r/). There are 9 words per sound position. Students will construct a campground by clicking/dragging elements on each page. As students manipulate the picture scene elements, they will practice their /r/ sound by labeling the target images depicted on each slide. Once the campground scene is completed, students will use the map to navigate their camp. There are 9 scenes designated for articulation activities. These can be found on page 1 of the map. In each of these scenes, students will search for hidden target articulation (/r/) images that will be dragged to a specific location on the slide. There are 3 scenes designated for open ended play. These can be found on page 2 of the map. Drag each of the items in the left column onto the background to create a scene. The campground scenes included are: Tall Tree Park, Rocky River Resort, Open Field Campground, Peaceful Moonlight Escape, Bear Lake Camp, Starry Views Park, Hiker’s Spot, Hide-away at White Peaks, and Misty Woods Hollow. The open-ended scenes included are: RV Park, Roaring River Rapids, and Fishing Hole. A vocabulary board is included in this product to help familiarize students with camping concepts.
