FOLLOW-UP ACTIVITIES • Ask students to find and list the capitals of twelve or more of the countries of Africa. • Challenge your students to make a Word Search Puzzle listing twelve or more of the African countries going up, down, diagonally, backwards, and forwards. Be sure they include an answer key. Then have them switch puzzles with a classmate to solve. • Use the name of an African country as a springboard for research. Ask students to do research and find fascinating facts about an African country of their choice, write a report, and share their findings with classmates. SAVE MONEY!
