Description: This activity is intended for older students to address using homophones correctly. There are 3 components to this deck. Homophones with pictures- This part you can instruct on the meanings of the 2 words and go over the spelling. You can also use this part to ask the students to "create a sentence with each word using a different meaning". The second component of this deck is the fill-in-the blank portion. Here they will fill in the blanks by dragging the correctly spelled word into the blank. Tip--Press submit after dragging the words to make sure it tells you the correct answer. The third component is the tic-tac-toe game portion. Two game boards are included. Here the students create a sentence with the correct meaning of the word with the given spelling. Words included are of increased complexity. Examples include the following: idol/idle, vein/vain, flee/flea
