Description: In this Chemistry Boom deck students identify the molecular geometry of each molecule using VSEPR Theory. This deck contains 20 different molecules with 2-6 substituents. They must classify each molecule as either linear, bent, trigonal planar, tetrahedral, trigonal pyramidal, seesaw, t-shaped, square pyramidal, octahedral or square planar geometry. If a student answers the question incorrectly on the first attempt, an additional card for that molecule pops up with the correct lewis dot structure to help the student get the correct molecular geometry on the second try. Each card also has access to a reference sheet including the various molecular geometries of molecules with 2-6 substituents by dragging the chart from the side of the screen.
