FREE Feelings and emotions - sentence completion - Mindfulness - Positive Education The free deck contains 15 writing exercises for students to practice identifying reasons for feelings and emotions. These are particularly helpful to those who are students: learning English as a second language (ESL, EAL, EFL, ELL, ELA); Homeschooling; Distance Education; on the Autism Spectrum; in Early Childhood; Early Intervention; Occupational Therapy; Special Education; or in Speech Therapy classes. These may also be used to complement structured teaching strategies in the classroom for mainstream English-speaking students at the elementary/primary levels. This is a thoughtful game for students who complete a statement about why a child may be experiencing a particular feeling or emotion (120 character limit, approximately 4 lines). Responses are saved for teach observation/correction through the report function on the BoomLearning teacher login page. There are fifteen cards in total, each representing a different feeling or emotion commonly experienced by children. Feelings and emotions depicted in this deck are: grumpy; delighted; bored; embarrassed; scared; sad; surprised; shy; tired; angry; proud; determined; full; calm; and jealous. This deck can be used in conjunction with my other sets for early learners of English. These are available in my store on Boom Learning (https://wow.boomlearning.com/author/bluwren).
