Description: This is a word to photo matching activity with a Summer vocabulary focus. On each card, the student is presented with 4 photos and 4 words. The student must drag the word to the matching photo. When all are correct, the page advances to the next card after the student presses Submit. If a word is not correct, it returns to its original position. There are 48 targeted Summer words on 12 cards. The first card is a teachable card. Students are encouraged to sound out the pictured words to identify beginning letters in the written words. This is a nice individual or group lesson and would be a fun transition or exit ticket activity as well. It's a great way to build vocabulary and beginning reading skills. Happy Summer!
