Description
Feed the Monster is a silly and engaging activity to help students identify and recognize basic emotions: sad, happy, scared, excited, surprised, bored, and angry. I find that using real pictures of children and adults showing emotions really help my students to pick up on facial expressions in comparison to using traditional cartoon clipart, where subtle non-verbal cues are more difficult to discern.
