Description: This interactive no-prep activity summer theme activity an engaging way to help your students build a variety of receptive and expressive language skills with summer nouns. Students are able answer "what" questions by identifying different summer nouns in different locations. Students are asked "what" questions targeting different prepositions. For example, "what is behind the boy?" This activity includes: - A variety of summer items (e.g. seashell, popsicle, flip flops, shovel, beach bag, umbrella, lifeguards chair, hat, starfish, bucket, towel, ball, beach chair, sunglasses, picnic basket, ice cream, sunscreen, sandcastle, bathing suit, shorts, lemonade, water) - A variety of prepositions (e.g on, under, above, below, in front, behind, next to, between) The following IEP goals can be targeted during the activity: - What Questions - Prepositions - Where questions (e.g. after student identified the correct item, students can be asked "where is it" to label prepositions) - Labeling common nouns (e.g. asking students what is it after they find the item in the correct location)
