Do your students struggle reading the graduations on a graduated cylinder? Mine did, so I made this deck to help them practice not only reading the meniscus, but reading graduated cylinders with a variety of graduations. Included in this card deck are cylinders of MANY different volumes and graduations so students can practice reading cylinders filled with liquid, at the meniscus. The graduations include increments of .2, .5, 1, 2, 5, 10, 25, 50, 100 etc. It's a veritable graduation party!!! 😜 I find this deck extremely helpful at identifying and remediating students that need support in this skill! If you're new to BOOM cards, they're fantastic as a support for distance teaching or remote learning. Think of them as interactive flash cards. They work well as a digital homework or for independent learning in station work.
