This 40-card scavenger hunt will teach your students interesting facts about some of the frogs and toads that live on Earth. While completing the hunt, students will learn differences and similarities between frogs and toads, what unusual thing they do with their eyes, why they don't drink water, and more. To complete the hunt, students answer 19 multiple choice questions. First, they read a question and its answer choices. Then they read a short passage where the answer is found. The final card in the deck challenges students to write 3 interesting things they learned from the hunt. This is a great supplement to add to a study of amphibians, to provide background information for a story, to have students practice reading informational text, for a reading/science center, or as an easy activity for a sub.
