Description: This interactive no-prep summer activity helps students build a variety of expressive and receptive skills. Students are presented with a variety of summer items. Students are able to answer WH questions, identify object functions and increase MLU by labeling object functions. The activity contains the following: - A variety of common summer objects (e.g. towel, lemonade, watermelon, boat, bucket, fork, shovel, hat, swimsuit, book, shorts. sunglasses, picnic basket, sunscreen, flip flops, pool. kite, ice pop, ball, umbrella, ice cream) - A variety of common functions (e.g. eat, sit, drink, wear, comb hair, read, dry, play, swim, fly, rides, dig, read, carry) The following IEP goals can be targeted: - Expanding Utterances - Object Functions - Labeling common objects - WH questions (e.g. can ask students "what is it," "what color," "what do you do with it," "what category is it," etc.)
