This Halloween-themed deck relates to place value: tens and ones (10 to 50). The player will see jars of eyeballs on a shelf. One jar contains 10 eyeballs and the other jar less than 10 eyeballs. You are required to count how many jars of eyeballs in total and then work out how many tens and ones go into the fillable blank boxes. You then type the correct standard number on the witch’s cauldron. Tap or click the ‘Submit’ button to check if you are correct. The deck will advance to the next card if the answers are correct. You will hear a bell sound. If you are incorrect, you will hear a ‘whoop’ sound and you can self-correct. The deck is randomized. Each time the game is played the cards will be in a different order. Also, you can differentiate the game. There is a BOOM feature whereby you can hide cards you do not want your students to play. For instance, if you want your students to play two-digit numbers up to 20, then you can hide the rest of the cards. Skills practiced: • Revise place value of 2-digit numbers • Correctly counting tens and ones • To know that 2-digit numbers can be separated into tens and ones • Able to write how many tens and ones • Students can work Independently Have fun and thank you for your interest!
