Description

Practicing the reading of antonyms in context is a skill that will help build vocabulary and offer word meaning practice. Students in late first grade, second grade, early third grade or are ESL students are the target audience for this resource. This deck of 31 antonym cards will randomize so the play is 20 cards per play. That makes repeating the task much like a new one. Each card gives a sentence with context clues and a picture clue for the meaning so students can think to select the antonym needed.
