Description
These matching games are intended to be used as a Math centre activity, for partners or individuals, to play and reinforce multiplication and division facts of 3, 4 and 11. The deck has a “flow magic” format, which allows you and/or students to make choices to target the table that best suits. There are 18 game boards: 3 multiplication and 3 division for each. There are 9 facts and 9 answers, hidden by images. Students take turns to reveal two spaces: if the fact and answer match, they feed their alien, score and have another turn. Each slide has a link back to a table of answers, if students need help. There is a “match” with a sound effect, if students want to acknowledge whether the reveals match. It isn’t necessary to click this, but I felt the need to signal a match or no match. On every slide, there is the option to return to the main menu. To celebrate the completion of each game, there is a certificate with sound effects.
