Description: This deck of digital task cards is a fun and easy way to help your math students classify real numbers! This can be a tricky concept for students, so I divided the deck into the sections described below. My goal by going in this order is to help students understand each type of number separately before looking at the hierarchy of real numbers using the graphic organizer. Cards 1-4: Natural Numbers (definition, yes/no questions, multiple-choice identifying which numbers are natural) Cards 5-11: Whole Numbers (similar questions as above) Cards 12-17: Integers Cards 18-24: Rational Numbers Cards 25-29: Irrational Numbers Cards 30-45: Using Graphic Organizer to sort and classify Natural, Whole, Integers, Rational, and Irrational. Variety of true/false, always true/sometimes true/never true, multiple-choice questions to help students understand the hierarchy of real numbers.
