Description
Students practice identifying the nonfiction text structures of cause and effect, compare and contrast, description, problem and solution, and sequence using 32 multiple choice digital task cards. Each task card features a short informational paragraph. 24 cards ask students to choose the correct text structure. 8 cards ask students to choose a reason why the paragraph is a certain type of text structure. Paragraphs with similar topics (such as drought, snakes, tornadoes, or cowboys) are included so students can see how the writing changes when different structures are used.
