Description: This simple color-sorting activity gives you tons of versatility to target language goals in a fun and interactive activity! It includes 20 cards, each with a set of objects that can be sorted (using drag and drop) onto one of two color splotches. The bright and colorful images provide lots of interest as students work to sort the set of 5 objects into two groups based on their color. The activity is easily expanded upon, as you can elicit language to talk about each item. Extend the language in the activity in many ways, including... ✅ Formulating sentences about each object. ✅ Telling how two or more objects are alike and different. ✅ Using negation to talk about the color that each object is not. Use this deck in any setting with any students! It is great for individual students, small groups, or even a whole class.
