Description: Students practice forming basic 2nd to 3rd grade or beginning to intermediate, U.S.A. English sentences with this terrific game about animals (turtle, parrot, hamster, guinea pig, goldfish, rabbit, or gecko). There is a page at the beginning to ask students to read these words. I taught these words to my students before assigning these sentences, but if your students are more advanced you may not need to. Most of the sentences tell the classification or type of animal (reptile, mammal, fish, or bird), so this is an excellent way to connect your science vocabulary to your writing and grammar practice. Enjoy! Note: If you are using this resource as part of the Super Turbo Bundle, this is great to use after or before (depending on your students' levels) chapter two or three.
