This deck is designed to assess student performance on ABLLS-R® R20.1–R20.4, focusing on addition skills with increasing complexity. Students complete 4 sets of 25 equations, progressing from basic addition to regrouping. When a student can solve a variety of these problems accurately and independently, it shows they understand the concept and can apply it to new equations — even ones they haven’t practiced before. This Boom Cards set provides a balanced sample of problems that allow teachers to observe true mastery, without overwhelming students or requiring every possible equation. R20.1 – Adds 2 Numbers 1–10 Students solve addition problems using numbers 1–10. These no‑carry equations assess foundational fact fluency and early computation skills. R20.2 – Adds 2 Numbers 1–20 (No Carrying) This section evaluates mental math strategies, place‑value understanding, and accuracy with larger numbers. R20.3 – Adds 2 Numbers 1–20 (With Carrying) This level assesses readiness for multi‑digit addition and the ability to apply place‑value concepts during computation. R20.4 – Adds 2 Numbers 1–99 (With Carrying) This level assesses the student’s ability to apply place‑value knowledge, manage carrying across digits, and generalize multi‑digit addition skills to a wide range of numbers. Mastery indicates readiness for more advanced computation, including multi‑step and multi‑digit operations. ABLLS-R® trademark is a registered trademark of Behavior Analysts, Inc.
