These apostrophe task cards were created for 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade. This apostrophe deck includes practice for the apostrophe’s placement in contractions, singular possessive nouns, plural possessive nouns, and possessive pronouns. This apostrophe deck includes: 45 task cards (9 apostrophe rules instructional cards and 36 apostrophe practice cards.) • Task cards 1-9 help teach your students the different uses, rules, and placement of apostrophes. • Task cards 10-21 are multiple-choice questions where your students will choose whether the placement of the apostrophe is correct or incorrect. • Task cards 22-33 are multiple-choice questions where your students will choose the sentence that has the placement of the apostrophe correct. • Task cards 34- 45 are multiple-choice questions where your students will choose the sentence that has an apostrophe mistake.
