Description

This fun deck relates to how many teeth the sugar skulls are displaying from 1 to 20. It is a fun Dia De Los Muertos (Day of the Dead) counting activity. Each card displays a sugar skull with an open mouth showing different number of teeth. Count the teeth and tap the correct numeral and corresponding number word and then click the ‘Submit’ button to see if you are correct. If you’ve counted correctly and matched the numeral and number word, you’ll hear a bell sound, and the deck will advance to the next card. If you are incorrect, i.e. you’ve not matched the numeral and number word and counted the correct number of teeth, you’ll hear a ‘whoop’ sound, and you can try selecting the correct answers again. Feedback is instant. So, if you counted correctly and tapped the correct numeral but not matched the number word, you will see a green circle over the number (because it is correct) but a red circle over the incorrect number word as it does not match the number. *You can hide cards you do not want your students to play.* Educational benefits: • Practice counting to 20 • Number recognition of numbers and corresponding number words • Work independently • Self-correct errors
