Use rhythm skills to unearth a dinosaur fossil in this puzzle game. Students add the value of the notes and rests on each card, then choose their answer to reveal another piece of the puzzle. When the puzzle is successfully completed the student can choose from three dinosaur eggs to unlock a dinosaur riddle. If they want to collect all three jokes they will need to play three times! This deck plays in sequential order, to reveal the puzzle piece by piece. Note values include whole note, dotted half note, half note, quarter note, eighth note pairs and groups of four eighth notes. Rest values include eighth, quarter, half, and whole rests. Audio instructions are provided for each card, and play automatically for the first two cards. Alt-text is provided for sound, but not for individual notes/rests in the rhythm images. Tab navigation is available. Ideal for musicians in their second year of study. Correlates well with Levels 2 or 3 of many piano methods (RCM1, Piano Safari 2, Piano Adventures 3, Alfred's Premier, Bastien, etc.) Also suitable for beginning band, choir, and solo instrument studies.
