Description: This FREE end of the year Boom Card deck tracks how long until the last day of school. Use this handy visual to COUNT DOWN the days or weeks of school (or speech therapy) that remain until summer begins! This free digital activity is an easy and quick addition to your other end of the year activities. 1. From the first card in the deck, choose to count down in WEEKS (starting at 8 weeks) or DAYS (starting at 14 days). 2. Then count backward by simply clicking on the card as many times as needed. 3. When you get to zero, a "Have a great summer break!" message is displayed. Click that card to initiate an applause/cheering sound. Please note that once you close the Boom Card deck, your progress in the countdown cannot be saved. The next time you'd like to show the countdown, you can "pre-click" the card to be at the appropriate number or have your students help you count backward from the beginning. This is a simple and fun way to build excitement and anticipation for the end of school.
