Promote the use of right and left hands on the keyboard with this deck. Support developing keyboard skills with structured, visual guidance! This Boom Deck helps students learn to use both hands on the keyboard in a clear, supportive way. Some learners may not yet be ready to isolate individual fingers for traditional touch typing — but they are ready to begin coordinating both hands. This deck is designed specifically for that important early stage of keyboard development. Students practice typing with one hand at a time to build awareness of each side of the keyboard: 🔵 The first 10 words are typed using the right hand only (right/blue side of the keyboard) 🔴 The second 10 words are typed using the left hand only (left/red side of the keyboard) Visual supports make learning clear and accessible. Each activity includes images of real hands positioned on a keyboard along with color-coded keys to reinforce which hand to use. ⭐ Structured progression from one-hand use to bilateral awareness ⭐ Color-coded keyboard supports left/right discrimination ⭐ Real hand visuals model correct placement ⭐ Builds motor planning and bilateral coordination ⭐ Supports early typing readiness without finger isolation demands ⭐ Clear visual supports for independent success Especially helpful for neurodiverse learners and students who benefit from explicit visual guidance, predictable structure, and reduced cognitive load when learning new motor skills. Great for OT sessions!
