Description: Minimal Pair Sliders for S Blends include FOUR movable visual cues (ie: SLIDERS) to move toward the "root" word of the consonant blend, so that the student is reminded to use the /s/ sound within S Blend words. SLIDERS: Sound Cue = the mouth shape for /s/ Picture Cue = a snake Phonemic Cue = the letter S Carryover Cue = an arrow The therapist can cue the child by choosing the appropriate visual cue to slide or the student can move the Slider of choice for an easy fine-motor movement and visual cue to prompt the successful production of the S-Blends. Each S-Blend page has 4 minimal pair sets included. All S-Blends: SK, SL, SM, SN, SP, ST, SW After the successful productions of the S-Blend targets, the child can move the MERMAIDS up to the scene.
